Rubik’s solving his cube for a month
Before video games became a thing, board games and other sources of entertainment were very popular. One of the things that remained popular even in the age of video games is the Rubik’s Cube. There’s hardly a person out there who never tried to solve this little thing, believing it’s easier than it seems. But did you know that it took Erno Rubik, the creator of this cube, a whole month to solve it? In fact, he designed the Rubik’s Cube by accident. He wanted to build a twistable box and see if it’s possible to move blocks without having the entire structure collapse. Only then did he realize that releasing the hues is such a fun and difficult task. The rest is history.
There are roughly 5.5 million codes behind World of Warcraft
Talk to any gaming enthusiast and they’ll tell you that World of Warcraft is the best MMORPG ever. The game truly is great but what’s even more amazing is the number of codes behind it. To create this iconic game, the developers had to create about 5.5 million code lines. This means that if you would like to print all the codes, you’d need roughly 100,000 pages to do so. Just think about cities, characters, weapons, spells, and armor, and how many codes there are behind them. Knowing this, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the developers were working for more than five years on creating the game. It certainly paid off as the game remains the best MMORPG, even in 2020.

Celebrities play D&D
For so long, Dungeons & Dragons were associated with a group of friends rolling the dice in their basements. The rise of the internet helped this game evolve and it’s now more popular than it was before. And no, we’re not only talking about “regular“ people playing it. No, celebrities do it as well. If you take a look at the Critical Role’s YouTube channel, you’ll see that they had many celebrities play with them. Some of the names include Vin Diesel, Matthew Lillard, Joe Manganiello, and the list goes on. Manganiello has even turned his basement into a playroom designed specifically for D&D. In addition, he wrote a script for a D&D movie with a dragonborn paladin/barbarian called Arkhan being the lead character.
GTA V characters are based on player types
There’s no doubt the three playable characters in GTA V are an interesting bunch. However, many players don’t know that each of them is based on a different player type. First off, there’s Franklin. Franklin represents players who’re new to the game and just want to learn how things work. He’s just getting into the shady side of the business and so is the player. Then there’s Michael. He’s a retired criminal who’d rather forget his past but still finds himself doing the usual. His personality matches the personalities of players who are already familiar with the GTA formula. Last but not least, there’s Trever. He symbolizes chaos and is based on players who just want to enjoy the open world and cause as much destruction as possible.
